Here is good news for the Heart Patients in India as it is official now to get Artificial Heart Implant in India weighing 400 grams at least especially for 4 million people in the country who die of heart problems annually. A hospital in Mumbai introduced the technology to Artificial Heart Implant an artificial heart which carrying out of the original heart and promises to double the patient’s life-expectancy.

The famous Asian Heart Institute in recent past has provided the training to few of their expert doctors to place the artificial heart of the said machine in patients when heart collapse. The said artificial heart depends on the rechargeable batteries and it will cost a massive Rs 1 crore as per the current market scenario.
Dr Ramakant Panda who is VC and MD of AHI, said that the artificial heart also allows the natural heart to recover apart from giving the patient a shot at life. In 10-15% of patients, the original heart recovers and the device is then removed. He also added that the artificial heart will help patients who are ideal candidates for a heart transplant but required assistance for staying alive till they get a proper heart donor.
Currently the foreign company has given the permission to manufacture only 4,000 artificial heart in a year and market it world wide by the American government as there is once sturdy shows that the estimated demand for the said device will be hardly 10 % of total numbers of manufactured unit due to the high prices.
